GESIS: Workshop "Research Data Management with quantitative data" | 28th - 30th July 2026

The Discipline-Specific Information Service for Social Sciences (SocioHub) and GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences are jointly organising the workshop “Research Data Management and Open Science in the Quantitative Social Sciences”. From 28th to 30th July, from 09:00 to 13:00 each day, the workshop will cover legal issues surrounding the collection of research data, fundamental concepts of data preparation and documentation, the organisation of data within research projects, and the sustainable sharing of research data beyond the project. The introductory course is aimed at social science researchers who collect, process or analyse quantitative research data and wish to use their data efficiently within the project as well as share it with others after the project has concluded. The workshop will be held in German.
